Jane Russell, an American model, actor, and actress was worth of more than $40 million when she died on February 28th 2011. She was a bonafide sexual icon within the world of film, Jane moved from the midwest to California to get her big break in her first film performance in "The Outlaw" in 1943.Ernestine Jane Geraldine Russell was born on the 21st of June, 1921, in Bemidji, Minnesota. She was the oldest child and only daughter of five children to Geraldine and Roy William Russell. Her siblings were Kenneth, Wallace, Jamie and Thomas. Her father was a 1st lieutenant in the U.S. Army, and her mother an actress as part of a touring troupe. Her mother was the one who arranged for her to study piano in the beginning, and Jane began to take an interest in acting and joined the stage production team at Van Nuys High School. Following the death of her father in her late 40s Jane decided to go on to become a professional designer. But she ended up working as receptionist. Jane then got into modeling, and then studied acting and drama with Max Reinhardt's Theatrical Workshop at the urging of her mother.
